Have not been able to find any soundfonts for the Mountain Dulcimer instrument; so made one using my own instrument. This is my first attempt at this so don't expect greatness. But I feel the result here is "ok." There are two presets in the file. One is a 'standard' instrument in which each string is plucked individually for each note. The other is a 'Melody-Drone' instrument in which only the melody string is fretted while the other two strings are strummed as drones; in the old-tyme traditional way of playing. There is only one tuning for each of the two instruments - D-A-D tuning.

CJ I'd give it 4 stars - you have to add a lot of saturation to it to make it into a lead sound (or at least I did - I'm not the world's greatest mixer!) but once it gets there, it's lovely. Tried compression but it didn't like it so I used saturation instead. Yours respectfully, Chris.
