HyperSound Rebooted | HyperSound 3.9

The legendary HyperSound soundfont is back--now with a fresh new coat of paint...or, should I say, a fresh new coat of sound. (Hehe.) While being completely different from what is now called HyperSound Classic (which is unsurprising, as this is meant to be a reboot, hence the name), HyperSound Rebooted still captures the feeling of nostalgia you may feel when hearing music played through 1990s and 2000s sound chips. Compared to HyperSound Classic, HyperSound Rebooted has it all. Smaller file size. Larger diversity of sounds. And it does sound good, too.

I labeled the first version of HyperSound Rebooted as version 3.9, indicating major reworks without any new instruments (or, more precisely, instrument patches/presets) added. If I weren't too lazy and added support for new presets before HyperSound Rebooted would go public, I would label the first version as version 4.0. But that doesn't mean version 4.0 will never exist--I'm planning to add support for General MIDI Level 2 in the near future.
