NitroFont Mini is a smaller version of the NitroFont soundfont, taking up only ~5.5 MB compared to NitroFont's ~60 MB. The small filesize was achieved thanks to lower-quality samples and smaller quantities of samples overall. When it comes to drumsets, only the standard one is included, but I might add the other GS sets in the near future. I don't think that'll make NitroFont Mini a lot bigger.
It's actually hard to think of reasons to use a lower-quality, more compact version of NitroFont, because old computers are rare nowadays. But still, if you have limited disk space or sluggish download speeds, NitroFont Mini can be a good alternative for you. NitroFont isn't completely faithful to NitroFont, but still does sound similar to the latter.
Once again, it's important to note that some free (as in "freedom") soundfonts have samples of dubious origin. So, if you notice a non-free sample in NitroFont, please let me know. I'll try to replace it as quickly as possible and do my best at preventing myself from getting into a legal situation.
