Is there some way to trigger a sample from any point other than its actual begining?
I have used to create soundfonts with full clips from recording sessions (e.g, a voice or a struming guitar), and then i setup them to tracks in musescore so i can arrange things like strings over this full clips. However, these full clips (actual samples), can only be playbacked from its attack. This make the workflow a little bit hard, because whatever i write near the score ending, i must playback it from the very begining in order to hear it at that point.
So i wonder if there is a way to trigger a sample from any point other than its attack.
PS.: the score part in question looks like a long row of whole-notes tied through all score, so the triggered sample is sustained.
