Keyboard Quick Same Notes Playing Problem

  I just noticed that in all soundfonts that if I play ( in an Instrument or a Preset ) using the Polyphone on screen keyboard or my computer keyboard, 2 same short notes in quick succession ( for example ½ sec or less apart ), that the 2nd note never shows on KB or plays, regardless of how long it is held? Do you have any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
