Auto pitch detection only works for white keys

    Hi !

When I import a bunch of samples (well defined piano samples) into polyphone 2.2, it perfectly recognises the pitch of all the white key notes (CDEFGAB). But all notes on black keys are not recognised and set to a default of C(60).

    Could that be a bug?

Hello is it possible to have an example file of a sample corresponding to a black key?
Polyphone tries to analyze the file name to find the pitch, if it is not written as metadata in the file itself. Maybe the sharps and flats are not correctly recognized.

Ah yes of course, my bad. Here is an imported list in PL:

Second one is the actual file names w/o the note numbers (would note numbers alone work?).

I vaguely remember looking up the source code for importing and there seemed to be no checking for sharps?

It was indeed a bug when analyzing the sample name. It will be fixed in the next version to come
