How to use modulators correctly?

  Hello The Polyphone Community,
  
  first of all sorry for my bad English, i'm from belgium and i speak french
  
  i would like to know how to use correctly teh Polyphones modulators.
  
  So, first, i understand how to create a basic soundfont.
  
  But, for example, a add a vibrato in the global section of preset (Vib freq, vib depth…)
  
  I would like modulate the vibrato with the modwheel, from 1 to 8 cycles/sec. Is it possible and how must i do this?
  
  Other exemples:
  
  assigning the volume of the instrument to de cc2 breath…? (i play sax since 35 years and ewi too)
  or again
  make a LP filter wich move with the Velocity and the number of the note.
  
  I'm appologise I do not understand very well the notion of amount function of the parameter than i whish edit
