Can't make the "release note" to trigger right

    Hi..
I've tried my best to make a release note to a bass instrument.
It worked fine to start with (I'm editing an existing one), then I wanted to change one of the release notes, but i can't get it working.
It keeps playing at the start, not when released.

The sample is looped with the 8 ticks "intro silence" as the others, and I used the "end loop" loop playback setting.--> #_
However, when I try to edit one of the other (working) release notes to NOT being release but play at start, nothing happens --> _#_
    They keep being release notes.

I've really been looking forward to try this out for some time, but I can't get it working
    Any suggestions please?

(Added a picture of the settings)

    Regards
    Chris

I am still messing around with this without getting any further.
I tried another sample for "end note" just to check it out but it's the same:
Instead of playing at key release it plays at key press with the other tone.

I've been trying to read and do this carefully but I can't replace a "end loop"sample in a elsewise working Soundfont.
Any good idea to try out please?

    Sorry for replying so late.
The "vol envelop release" parameter should a couple of seconds otherwise it will stop the sound quickly after the key is released.
Regarding the fact that the sound is playing on a key press... I would say that the end loop is too far from the beginning (wrong end loop offset?)

    Hi Davy
    Good to see you back!

I'm "doing other things" right now (one of the biggest problems in this world is that we can only work one place at the time lol) but will try this out next time some editing is up.
    Thank you for the reply

I understand and I'm quite the same. I'm taking care of Polyphone by period and then move to other projects
