Will Polyphone need to be updated now that Fluidsynth 2 has been released, in order to set 'new' parameters that exist in the new version of Fluidsynth?

    Hello,

A new version is under preparation and I'm indeed considering integrating FluidSynth (rather than using the current sound engine), which will assure a correct and complete rendering of the soundfonts. Listening the modulators would be then possible.

I'll do my best to release it before 2019

    Regards,
    Davy

    Hi Davy,

Thank you. I wrongly assumed that Fluidsynth was embedded in Polyphone. I love Polyphone, It has helped me build a small soundfont - something I never thought I would be able to do. Thank you for your hard work on Polypone.

    Regards,
    Brian.

The issue with FluidSynth is that it is bound by the 2GB limit, which is to be removed in the next version. If you can integrate FluidSynth into Polyphone, without being bound by the 2GB limit, that would be impressive!
