1. Load the attached SoundFont in Polyphone.
2. Play a note on the instrument "saw_wave". You will hear the pitch start a half step (100 cents) high and then decay to note pitch in the duration of 1 second.
3. Change the global mod env decay to any value above 1 second. Result: the pitch decay still takes only 1 second to decay.
4. Change the global mod env decay to any value below 1 second. Result: the pitch decay rate stays the same, but after the specified time elapses, the pitch instantly snaps down to note pitch.
Clearly something is broken with the mod envelope where the decay rate is always 1 second regardless of the value set.mod_env_decay_test.sf2 -
Ouch you are right. For the modulation decay (not the amplitude decay), the release time was used instead. Now fixed
For now I have no other fix to include in a new version 2.2.1 so maybe I should wait a bit if other bugs arise -
Do you know when the next version will be released that contains this fix? This bug affects a number of presets that I am working on for my client. Thank you

Message from S. Christian Collins onAt least for now I was able to compile Polyphone from git master, and I can confirm that this bug is indeed fixed

I think he is very busy. (And I hope his health is good.)
There were times when he was unable to answer for eight months.
I check the forum every day.
And he knows how zealous I am about this -
Sorry guys! I'm indeed pretty busy, with the documentation this time. I had the opportunity to rework it with Aleksey from Ukraine that provided a really nice job. The documentation is now hosted by Github and people can improve it for updating a page or for adding a language. It is then synchronized with this website and you see the result here:
https://www.polyphone.io/o/documentation/en
I will soon add a french translation and a PDF export. It was also the time for me to remove the translation of the website itself, everything is now only in English, the documentation alone is translated. I did it yesterday and it was a mess, so I didn't sleep that much last night! But apart from that, my health is nice thank you
Regarding Polyphone, my plan is to add the possibility to upload soundfonts directly from it. If possible I prefer to wait it is finished before making a new release.
