Duration/length of a sample file

  Hello all together,
  what is the maximum length of a sample? I use long sound files (lasting several minutes) and unfortunately these files aren't supported, because of their length (I suppose). I ask for this reason. There is nothing in the manual about this topic.

  i think you will have to find out by trial and error .
  with samples that long you do better to work in an Audio editor. i cant imagine a keyboardplayer holding the keys for several minutes, MIDI editors have limited note lenghts too
