For creating a verified installer, according to what I understood since I'm not an expert with Mac, I need to be identified by Apple and pay a 99$ fee per year (Apple Developer program). But Polyphone is free so... paying this is not an option. You can find support here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102445
(I changed the title of this thread so that other people can find it - I had the same remark recently)

Indeed ! - a source of much annoyance here too! I can publish Android apps all day - but not apple without the £99 per year Even then in the future if you don't keep up annual payments they remove the apps from the store! I suppose they're trying to filter the crud - but there must be a more honourable way!
Hi, I also saw that message and it wouldn't let me open it. But then I opened the system settings, and in the Privacy and Security section, it showed that "Polyphony" was blocked. There, I did see the "Open anyway" option. When I clicked it, it asked me for my password, and I was able to open the app after that. In case anyone finds that useful. Greetings and thanks a lot.
