Polyphone cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified

  Tried to download on my Mac. It said: "Polyphone cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified". Any known work arounds?

  For creating a verified installer, according to what I understood since I'm not an expert with Mac, I need to be identified by Apple and pay a 99$ fee per year (Apple Developer program). But Polyphone is free so... paying this is not an option.

  Indeed ! - a source of much annoyance here too!
  I can publish Android apps all day - but not apple without the £99 per year
  Even then in the future if you don't keep up annual payments they remove the apps from the store!
  I suppose they're trying to filter the crud - but there must be a more honourable way!
