SoundFont based on the Multilaser Up Play P9076 mobile phone, using the Spreadtrum SC6531 chipset.
This sound bank was recreated from samples extracted from the device's original firmware, which uses a proprietary wavetable system (SPRD MIDI Engine), common in feature phones.
During the recreation process, the samples were processed in Audacity to correct the pitch. The original SC6531 sounds have inconsistent tuning and are generally higher than the musical standard, so all instruments were adjusted to the correct pitch (A=440Hz), ensuring compatibility with standard MIDI (General MIDI).
Features:
- Based on mobile phone wavetable (SC6531)
- Lo-fi timbres typical of feature phones
- Samples normalized and pitch corrected
- Compatible with General MIDI (partial / GM Lite)
