Exported .sf2 plays only one channel of random samples

  I'm experiencing this weird issue which I can't seem to solve. 
  When exporting a sf2 and playing it in sforzando, only the left or right channel of some samples get played.
  
  For instance, I've been trying to create patches with 12 samples (3 notes per 4 octaves) which sound perfectly fine in Polyphone. However, whenever I export the sf2 file and play it in Sforzando almost always the bottom most sample is giving me this issue. Once I remove it and assign the next sample in line to cover the range of the deleted sample the issue doesn't present itself, but if I try importing the "offending" sample back into the instrument the issue presents itself again. 
  
  Has anybody else experienced a similar issue?
