Hi all, it's good to see a community for Soundfonts here. I've use Vienna in the past a little, seems like Poly is pretty much the same (I really like some of the extras) but I'm really missing the visual editing of synthesis parameters, I'm hoping there's something I'm just not seeing... I don't have the parameter ranges memorized, is there an easier way to edit synth parameters using say, sliders?

One thing I'm also having a hard time with is the Tuning (scale) parameter, what is the value I should enter for each key being a half tone?

My first Soundfont project is going to be making tones for synthesis using samples exported from sources like PadSynth, Orangator, a few hardware synths I have and the occasional found sound. I will of course upload them when I have enough to make a set.

I haven't used Soundfonts very much in the past and was hoping to get some resources for some basic questions on their usage, especially how they are called from a midi sequencer, I know that you use bank select and patch select but I'm kind of lost on how that relates if I load up multiple Soundfonts. Oh and currently I'm using a Live 5.1 (for about 2 days now), and I'm starting to think the 48k samplerate conversion issues might be an actual thing because from what I remember, my AWE may have pitched the samples a bit more naturally... but I'll have to see how it sounds on other voices I'm still on my first one.

Hopefully my questions make sense and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I thought I was putting this into the Soundfont help section, since that's where I was when I composed it.... admin can you move it please?
