Why are sounds so high pitched?

  I put the sample into polyphone, and make an instrument and preset out of it. But then when i hear it in LMMS its way higher pitched. To the point it just sounds like clicking noises.
  
  How do i fix this? Im very new to soundfonts and dont really understand what a lot of the vocabulary in the docs means

  take a  good look at the Instrument settings and if you have some spare time tomorrow, read the tutorial.
