    Hi, Davy,
This is my first post in this forum. I wish this community will grow bigger.

I really appreciate your effort in creating a great open source software like Polyphone. I am really sure this software will become widely accepted by many musician.

Just information, there is a Fluidsynth alternative called Fluidlite. It is designed with portability in mind and even it did support SF3 format out of the box which makes SF3 support in Polyphone become more useful. And who knows maybe you can even use it to add MIDI file support or as sample playback engine.

Thanks for everything you did for community.

    Best regards,

    Hello Ryan,

Welcome to this forum and thank you for sharing the work you did. That's pretty clever if you can provide a better sound engine that takes into account the particularities of a mobile environment: small space and integration issues. The sf3 support is a nice addition.

Currently listening to the modulator effects is a missing feature in Polyphone and integrating your project seems a good option. I am already following your project on GitHub.

I am sure the sf2 community will be restored

    Regards,
    Davy

    Hi, Davy.

I am not the creator of FluidLite, even I don't have any programmer capabilities. Actually I am the one who requested SF3 support in Polyphone to you. I share the FluidLite software, because I am really glad that finally there is another software which support SF3 besides MuseScore. Even Robin Lobel, the author of FluidLite mentioned your software (Polyphone) in his blog.

Finally, it is just a matter of time until many people recognize your work and join together to share their soundfont creation.

    Thanks,
    RyanBram

Polyphone est gratuit mais il y a des coûts associés à son site web et à son développement. Un petit coup de pouce aidera beaucoup.
